My name is Alexa Martin Del Campo, and I am the founder of Today We Rise Doula Co.
My journey into birth and postpartum work began in Mexico City in May 2024. While visiting my ancestral land, I unknowingly photographed pieces of birth art at El Museo de Culturas Populares. Months later, the word doula would not leave my mind. Though I hadn’t yet witnessed a birth, the calling was undeniable. I followed my calling and enrolled in a doula training that November, leaving my 9–5 by year’s end, earning my state certification. And thus, Today We Rise Doula Co. was born.
Looking back, I realized my soul had recognized the path long before my mind caught up—birthwork was already in my blood.
As a doula, I bring my full authenticity, compassion, and intuitive gifts into every birth space. I am deeply attuned to the unseen layers of a room—energy, emotion, ancestral presence, and spiritual opening. Combining evidence-based care and my grounding and expansive presence, I know when to advocate, when to soften, and when to simply witness.
My work is more than support; it is sacred accompaniment through one of life’s most transformational thresholds. I walk beside my clients in their power, honoring each birth as both a physical and spiritual becoming.
I look forward to meeting you, I look forward to celebrating life with you, and I look forward to witnessing your becoming.
